Citibank Launches Summer Holiday Themed International Cash Card Promotion

Seoul – Citibank Korea Inc. (CKI) announced today the launch of a new summer holiday promotion designed to encourage more customers to sign up for a Citi Visa International Cash Card (ICC).

Customers who enroll for an ICC from today until the end of July can enter a lucky draw competition to win a range of prizes, including iPods, Nintendo Wii consoles and gift vouchers.

Popular with customers who travel overseas frequently, the ICC allows clients to conveniently withdraw cash (at a low per-transaction charge of just one U.S. dollar) from Citibank ATMs around the world. Because it can also be used as a credit card, the ICC also provides payment flexibility.

In addition, new ICC customers can enjoy special access to the mid-rate for foreign currency transactions of up to 500 million won (close to US$400,000).

They can also enjoy an 80 percent rate discount for travelers check purchases and a 50 percent discount on the TT selling rate for foreign currency remittance services. These special deals and offers will be available until August 31, 2009.
