GCC Data Centre Leadership to meet in Abu Dhabi to consider strategies for regional and international growth

Abu Dhabi & London, 16 May 2009 – The leadership of Data Centre players in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) will meet in early June in Abu Dhabi, to discuss their future strategies in the region and beyond. The build out of facilities in the region, and level of sustained demand demonstrates the resilience of data centres internationally, according to BroadGroup, the consulting firm and organiser of the forum. The annual meeting is located at the Injazat Auditorium in Abu Dhabi, and is designed to provide a platform for leadership debate and will be characterised by defining growth strategies for operators with strong cash positions.

Highlights of the 2-day meeting includes the first ever data centre Middle East CEO Roundtable which brings together Ibrahim Lari, CEO, Injazat Data Systems, Osman Sultan, CEO, du, Tariq Husain, Chairman, Gateway Gulf and Yasser Zeineldin, CEO, eHosting Datafort.
