SurgiCare celebrates three years of weight loss surgery

In the three years since SurgiCare launched weight loss surgery nearly 1000 people have been helped to achieve their weight loss and health goals. To celebrate this, SurgiCare are hosting an open invite party, on Thursday 30 April 2009.

The party starts at 6.30pm and will go on until 8.00pm and can be found at each of the Surgicare branches. The party provides potential patients with an ideal opportunity to meet the SurgiCare weight loss team, learn more about weight loss surgery informally and meet people who have undergone surgery and achieved their weight loss goals in the last 18 months. The information will cover all forms of weight loss surgery from a gastric bypass to cosmetic surgery.

The open evening is ideal for people serious about weight loss surgery and those who just want to know a little bit more the procedures available.

Enquiries about weight loss surgery at SurgiCare have risen year-on-year and the number of consultations in March 2009 was more than double the corresponding figure for 2008. Weight loss surgery procedures - including gastric balloon fittings - are most popular in June and July with patients looking to slim down for the summer.
