Face to Face Social Networking Flying High!

While the rest of the UK are cutting back, the premier Manchester social network, Social Circle are expanding and offering more and more opportunity for people to get away from the doom and gloom of the current economic climate.

Although it’s original premise was exclusively to hold social events to make it easier for the modern day, professional to make friends in Manchester, it’s now taken a step further. They now offer numerous adventure weekends, walking breaks and activity breaks. And the professional, active individuals in Manchester are not letting the economic slump hold them back! After a successful sking trip in February, they are also planning a weekend in Edinburgh during Festival time.

Social Circle’s adventure challenges will be reaching yet new heights, quite literally when they arrive for 2 weeks in Nepal. Starting the journey in Kathmandu, Social Circle holiday makers will enjoy two immensely varied weeks including; climbing mountains, spectacular views, mountain biking, canoeing, spas, bungee jumping over rivers and trekking into the heart of the famous Rhododendron forest, spending the night in a small village.

For those with a smaller budget, and slightly nearer to home, there is a long weekend in Barcelona. Social Circle holiday makers will pay homage to the great artists who have left their mark there, and venture into the centre of the old city which reveals the Gothic legacy of its medieval past.

Even though everyone is tightening their belts at the moment, people seem to be putting much more emphasis on their social and relaxation time, it suggests the value of work life balance is becoming more important, even in times of hardship.
