Uniwell EPOS Launch iX-15 Intel PC Point of Sale (PC POS) Terminal

Uniwell the Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) specialist are pleased to announce the launch of two new iX-15 Intel PC-POS touch screen terminals. The clever all-in-one design of the iX-15 touch screen PC saves counter space yet still manages to provide a large 15inch touch screen to maximise ease of use and provide a large user screen.

The new iX-15 Intel POS terminal is available with a choice of two processors, both using the Intel Celeron-M processor.

- The 1.0Ghz model is a robust fan-less version which helps to keep your system running longer by reducing the internal build up of dust and dirt which often lead to overheating problems and downtime, but still has all the power you need to deliver speed at the point of service for fast retail transactions.

- The 1.5Ghz model is powered by the Intel Celeron-M 1.5Ghz processor and has a little extra processing power for resource hungry applications.

The iX-15 has been designed specifically to cope with the harsh conditions found in many retail and hospitality environments. A second customer facing LCD display is available as an option, providing the opportunity to display customer adverts.

The iX-15 Intel PC-POS touch screen has been designed with a unique chip set and CPU that have power saving functions, resulting in lower energy consumption. A wide choice of standard interface ports provides connectivity to peripheral EPOS devices.
