National Geographic Adventure Magazine Names New Account Manager

NEW YORK — Richard Gustafson has been named account manager for National Geographic Adventure magazine. Based in New York, Gustafson will target growth categories in the magazine, including liquor, pharmaceuticals, apparel, consumer electronics and financial accounts. The position was announced by National Geographic Adventure associate publisher Peter Fisher and is effective immediately.

Prior to joining National Geographic, Gustafson was account executive at Rolling Stone Magazine. He has also held managerial and advertising sales positions at USA WEEKEND magazine, Arthur Frommer’s Budget Travel Magazine and Travel Weekly.
