CSC Signs $53 Million IT Services Agreement With Global Oil/Gas Company

FALLS CHURCH, Va.- CSC (NYSE: CSC) announced today that it has signed a five-year, $53 million information technology (IT) services contract with BHP Billiton Petroleum.

Under the agreement, CSC will manage global IT operations for BHP Billiton Petroleum, which is headquartered in Houston, Texas, and has operations and offices in approximately 10 countries. The contract covers enterprise-wide infrastructure, which includes help desk, desktop, midrange, network, high-performance computing and telecommunications services, as well as applications management.
