The BlackBerry Curve 8900 is a quad-band smartphone – GSM/GPRS/EDGE: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz -- providing global connectivity support with fast data access and web browsing. It combines phone, email, messaging, organizer, web browser and multimedia applications, and features built-in Wi-Fi®, GPS and Bluetooth®, as well as a next generation processor (512 MHz) and a dazzling hi-resolution display, enabling customers to remain connected, productive and entertained while on the move.

At approximately 110 grams and 109 x 60 x 13.5 millimeters, the BlackBerry Curve 8900 smartphone is the thinnest and lightest full-QWERTY BlackBerry® smartphone to date and comes with a sleek and refined design that feels comfortable for either one-handed or two-handed use. It’s large, striking 2.4 inch HVGA+ display (480x360 resolution) projects vivid color and makes text, pictures and video a pleasure to view. In addition to its sleek and new style, the BlackBerry Curve 8900 smartphone features a full-QWERTY keyboard and intuitive trackball that allow easy typing and navigation. The microSD/SDHC expandable memory card slot supports up to 16GB per card, giving users plenty of storage that is easily interchangeable.

The BlackBerry Curve 8900 smartphone can be used with BlackBerry® Enterprise Server, which offers enterprises advanced security and IT administration in IBM® Lotus® Domino®, Microsoft® Exchange and Novell® GroupWise® environments, as well as BlackBerry® Professional Software for SMEs. It can also be used with BlackBerry® Internet Service, which enables access to up to 10 supported business and personal email accounts (including most popular ISP accounts) from a single device. With the BlackBerry Curve 8900 smartphone, users can also edit Microsoft® Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents directly on the smartphone using the preinstalled Documents to Go® application from DataViz®.

For customers who are only interested in email access on the go, Orange Spain offers a flat rate for unlimited email on BlackBerry® Internet Service at a cost of 9€/month. New customers to Orange can enjoy a special offer of 4.5€/month during the first three months.

For those clients who are interested in managing email, accessing the Internet and running additional wireless applications, Orange offers a flat rate for BlackBerry Internet Service at a cost of only 15€/month.
