NISSAN pledges AUD $100,000 to bushfire in AUSTRALIA

TOKYO - Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and Nissan Motor Co.(Australia) Pty Ltd have jointly pledged AUD $100,000 (about 6 million yen) to the Victorian Bushfire Relief Fund to aid emergency relief efforts in Australia following the aftermath of the devastating bushfires that continue to burn since last Saturday.

Nissan Motor Australia will also match - dollar for dollar - any donation made by its direct employees to either the Australian Red Cross or the Salvation Army bushfires relief funds.
In addition Nissan Financial Services Australia, a subsidiary of Nissan Motor Australia has also decided to offer one hundred free lease vehicles for six months to the victims of the bushfires.
