BASF has been awarded the title “Best Supply Performance 2008”

BASF’s Care Chemicals operating division has been awarded the title “Best Supply Performance 2008” by one of its most important customers, the Global Key Account Henkel. With the award, Henkel’s Laundry and Home Care division appreciates BASF’s outstanding supply performance.



“Among many companies that do a great job in reliably supplying Henkel every day, BASF was recognized as best-in-class for reliability, flexibility, supply processes and product quality", stated Bertrand Conqueret, Corporate Senior Vice President and Head of Corporate Purchasing at Henkel.



“We are delighted to receive this tribute. It shows that reliable co-operation is one of our most important business principles”, says Gabriel Tanbourgi, head of BASF’s Care Chemicals division.



BASF’s Care Chemicals division supplies Henkel with starting materials for the detergents and cleaners industry, including surfactants, polymers, dye transfer inhibitors and complexing agents.



The award was conferred at the Soap and Detergent Association Annual Meeting and Industry Convention in Boca Raton, Florida, USA.
