Arizona Infiniti Dealer Says 2008 Was Great For G37

Critics and enthusiasts alike are praising the new edition of Infiniti’s G37 Coupe and Sedan. The Coupe, remodeled for 2008 and the Sedan, the successor to the G35 Sedan, received recent upgrades and stylish makeovers inside and out.

Infiniti of Scottsdale on McDowell Road in Arizona stocks the largest supply of the G37 Coupe and Sedan and has the largest factory order placed for the G37 Convertible. The recent honors and awards are welcomed news for the popular dealership.

Car and Driver magazine just named the G37 Coupe and Sedan to their 10 Best List of 2009. Out of a field of 56 vehicles, the G Coupe and G Sedan rose to the top, marking the fourth time Infiniti has won this award, in addition to 2003, 2004 and 2007.

The 2009 G37 stood out from the rest according to US News Auto Rankings which awarded it the coveted #1 spot among upscale, mid-size cars. The auto press said, “The 2009 Infiniti G37 is a serious threat to the traditional favorite in the Upscale Midsize Car class - the BMW 3-Series. “

The 2009 G37 Coupe’s performance capabilities expand with the addition of the much anticipated G37x AWD model. Also new for the Coupe is a 7-speed automatic transmission with Drive Sport (DS) Mode and Downshift Rev Matching. The 2009 G37 Coupe is available in four models – G37, G37 Journey, G37S Sport 6MT and G37x AWD – each with standard 330-horsepower 3.7-liter VQ-series V6 with VVEL technology.

Arizona residents will be awaiting the arrival of the first ever Infiniti convertible, set to go on sale at the Scottsdale dealership this Spring.

The report by Car and Driver is expected to draw even higher levels of interest for the line-up of G models. Mal Kenney, Sales Development Manager at Infiniti of Scottsdale, remarked “The reviews and awards from 2008 have caused a lot of inquiries into the Infiniti line-up of G models. We’re stocking higher levels of the Sedan and Coupe to match the higher levels of interest we’ve seen this past year.”
