Thermal Technology Designs Large Scale Crystal Grower
SANTA ROSA , Calif. January 12, 2009 -- Thermal Technology recently received an order from Taiwan for an edge-defined, film-fed growth (EFG) crystal growth system. The newly designed machine will be the first in Taiwan able to produce sapphire plates up to 10”x 20”x .4”. Installation of the custom large-scale crystal growing system is scheduled for June 2009.
