Collaboration Extends Market for Data Warehouse Appliance Leader and Provides High-Performance Analytics Platform for Microsoft Business Intelligence (BI) Users

Marlborough, MA — Netezza Corporation (NYSE Arca: NZ), today announced its collaboration with Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ: MSFT) and the first part of its high-performance data integration strategy for Microsoft Business Intelligence (BI). Microsoft customers can now take advantage of Netezza’s unique high-speed terascale analytic capabilities and extend the value of their existing Microsoft BI investment. Through this partnership, Netezza customers will now have more choice through tighter integration and technology compatibility with Microsoft’s SQL Server 2008.
