Oracle Korea today announced that LG Electronics has successfully implemented the Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 in 6 countries worldwide.

With this successful global enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementation, Oracle Korea further demonstrates the ability to provide customers with the most advanced global single instance.
Increased Productivity, Lower Maintenance Costs
With Oracle Applications, LG Electronics replaces legacy ERP systems and has significantly cut worldwide account closing time, and greatly shortened profitability analysis time. It also realized an increase in productivity and a reduction in system maintenance costs.

Business processes and systems across four main business areas were integrated to ensure smooth flow of information through the company. By adopting identical processes across the world, LG Electronics has minimized confusion and enabled staff to collaborate on significant projects such as global marketing programs and year-end account closing.
LG Electronics has currently completed the implementation of global ERP system in its Korea offices and its overseas offices in Australia, England, Germany, Indonesia, and Jordan.
By 2010, LG Electronics will complete the worldwide integration into a global single instance.
