Panasonic and Samsung Invest in SiBEAM, Inc.

Leading Manufacturers of LCD and Plasma Displays Back WirelessHD™ Solutions

Sunnyvale, California—December 1, 2008 – SiBEAM, Inc., the leading innovator of millimeter wave (mmWave) solutions and developer of high-speed wireless communication platforms, today announced the strategic investment by Panasonic and Samsung for the continued development of SiBEAM’s WirelessHD™ semiconductor products. This additional investment by two of the world’s leading consumer electronics manufacturers represents a show of confidence in the market and application potential of WirelessHD technology.

SiBEAM’s award-winning chipsets with OmniLink60™ technology operate in the 60GHz band and represent the world’s first to be developed and produced in CMOS.
