The announcement was made at the DITA Europe Conference 2008 being held November 17th and 18th at the Holiday Inn Munich in Germany.

The new DocZone DITA product is a complete end-to-end hosted solution, integrated with JustSystems’ (www.justsystems.com) DITA authoring tool, XMetaL Author Enterprise (see today’s related announcement highlighting DocZone.com and JustSystems partnership), component content management (built as a layered application onto the Alfresco open source CMS), workflow, and single-source publishing to the DITA Open Toolkit. DocZone DITA is bundled with full support for DITA features such as conref and DITA maps, so that it is ready to use “out of the box” with little to no additional setup required.
