Warrington, PA - Polysciences, Inc. has introduced the Melanin Bleach Kit, the newest addition to the line of products for the histology professional in a convenient kit format. The Melanin Bleach Kit removes melanin pigment in cells of malignant melanomas to clearly reveal cellular detail. Accumulation of heavy melanin pigment in the cells of malignant melanoma can obscure cellular morphology and can hinder special staining, immunohistochemistry or histochemical staining. The Melanin Bleach Kit saves time by removing melanin pigment from tissue sections allowing for positive staining to be interpreted correctly.
