TestAmerica Affiliate Receives NVLAP Accreditation for Asbestos Analysis

EMLab P&K, a TestAmerica Laboratories, Inc. affiliate for Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), announced the accreditation of its Cherry Hill, New Jersey laboratory by the National Volunteer Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) for PLM bulk asbestos analysis.

NVLAP provides an unbiased third-party evaluation and recognition of laboratory performance through strict series of quality assessments. NVLAP accreditation represents a laboratory’s proven ability to meet or exceed technical requirements set by the program. NVLAP is in full conformance with the standards of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and has become an industry standard for excellence. The areas of assessments include quality systems, measurement traceability, handling and reports, sampling, accommodation and environment, test and calibration methods, personnel, and equipment.
