Timberland’s Green Hammer Award to Spotlight Sustainable Building Practices


Timberland PRO (NYSE: TBL) and The Working Person’s Store have announced the first annual Green Hammer Award competition to honor (and reward) the efforts put forth by America’s workforce to preserve and protect our environment through sustainable building practices.

Timberland Pro Green Hammer Award entrants are invited to submit a photo and brief description of a project where they’ve been able to reduce their use of natural resources, or recycle materials in an innovative way. Finalists for the competition will be posted on the web site. Visitors will then be invited to vote for their favorite entry. When the votes are counted, the winning entrant will receive $1,000 worth of Timberland PRO boots and work apparel of their choice from Contestant entries are being accepted at:
