Inaugurates New Expanded Office Premise in Beijing;
Achieves Wholly Foreign Owned Entity Status in China That Reinforces Commitment and Support for Growing Customer Base and Partner Network

Beijing, China - Citrix Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:CTXS), the global leader in application delivery infrastructure, today announced its wholly foreign owned entity status in China and its inauguration of the new expanded office premise in Beijing. The newly-acquired status in China reinforces the commitment of Citrix to increase its footprint in the country and address the growing demand for its application delivery solutions.

To sustain the growth momentum and accelerate to the next level, Citrix has moved to a larger office premise in Beijing and plans to triple the headcount across China over the next five years. Citrix has also recently appointed Ingram Micro and Synnex as its authorized Value-Added Distributors in China to maximize market development and to support the expanded channel network. The company, which doubled its Chinese customer base last year, today boasts over 2,400 customers in China including Sina.com, China Mobile, Huawei Technologies, China Construction Bank, China Securities Co. Ltd, LG CNS, Hangzhou Power Supplies, PetroChina and SinoPec.

“China is an important strategic growth market for Citrix. By offering the industry’s most comprehensive portfolio of application delivery infrastructure solutions featuring a broad range of products that extend from the datacenter to the desktop, Citrix is delivering compelling business values to Chinese companies by managing total costs of ownership and providing them the ability to deliver applications and desktops to any user, anytime, anywhere from a secure central location,” said Victor Tsao, Area Vice President, Greater China, at Citrix Systems.

“Increasingly, Chinese companies are relying on Citrix application delivery infrastructure solutions to capitalize on the booming local economy to support both their domestic growth and their effort to expand into overseas markets.” He added, “Becoming a wholly foreign owned entity in China is critical to our business strategy and central to the commitment of Citrix to its customers and partners. We will continue to expand our presence in China, accelerate our growth momentum and deliver on our vision of transforming static datacenters into dynamic delivery centers.”

Today, virtualization is revolutionizing the way IT conducts its mission to provide infrastructure services to the business. By transforming static datacenters into dynamic delivery centres, the Citrix end-to-end virtualization technologies lower power consumption and facilitate the sharing of critical resources which enable cost reduction, improve information security and raise IT agility that meet dynamic business mandates. With the growing recognition of the business benefits that Citrix provides for its customers, the demand for Citrix technology in China is increasing with tremendous pace.

Through its newly appointed Value Added Distributors, Ingram Micro and Synnex, Citrix is offering the broadest and best range of end-to-end virtualization solutions from its Citrix Delivery Center™ product family to customers in China, including:

* Citrix® XenApp™ for Application Virtualization - the industry’s de facto standard for delivering Windows based applications to office and mobile workers using state-of-the-art client and server side application virtualization from a secure, centralized location.
* Citrix® XenDesktop™ for Desktop Virtualization - the industry’s first comprehensive Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) system that moves beyond the limitations of existing products to ensure the simple, secure and cost effective delivery of Windows desktops to any office worker with an unparalleled user experience.
* Citrix® XenServer™ for Server Virtualization – the simplest and most effective way to virtualize servers and deliver server workloads on-demand to both virtual and physical servers, enabling a truly dynamic data center.

Victor Tsao concluded, “Citrix has a strong history of innovation and prides itself on predicting and staying ahead of industry trends. Moving forward we will continue to bring the latest technologies that will provide Chinese companies with even greater agility and security to gain a competitive advantage in today’s global economy.”
