Net Insight to deliver Nimbra equipment for expansion of North American media transport network

Stockholm, Sweden – Net Insight, leading developer of efficient and scalable optical transport solutions for media, IP and broadcast networks, has received a further order from an existing North American customer for extension of their media transport network.

Earlier this year, this media network operator started to build a new network to carry media services for professional media companies across the U.S. The network is based on Net Insight’s Nimbra platform, offering high capacity transmissions to deliver uncompressed and compressed HD and SD video services.

Net Insight’s Nimbra platform enables the operator to guarantee exceptional service delivery for its customers and will now continue to further extend the network. The equipment will be delivered during 2008.
