Plantronics Expands Its Optimized for Microsoft Office Communicator Headset Portfolio

New Wideband Headsets Provide Professional Grade Audio Clarity and Reliability for PC-Based Conversations

(NYSE: PLT) today expanded its growing portfolio of Unified Communications headsets Optimized for Microsoft Office Communicator with the new wideband .Audio™ 630M USB binaural headset and the .Audio™ 615M USB monaural headset. The qualification process ensures business users will benefit from a superior end-user experience for calls initiated through Microsoft Office Communicator 2007.

Wideband utilizes more than twice the audio bandwidth of conventional telephony to greatly enhance intelligibility. The new .Audio wideband headsets provide users with the feeling of true “face-to-face” conversations, resulting in improved business communication during PC-based audio and video conference calls, and person-to-person calls.
