PORTLAND, OR (May 2008) – LaCie today announced an encore to its award-winning FireWire Speakers with the release of the new LaCie USB Speakers designed by Neil Poulton. Offering bus-powered universal USB connectivity, plug and play compatibility, internal cable storage, and a convenient carrying case, these speakers will wow audiences with their stylish design and superior sound.

The LaCie USB Speakers can simply plug into a PC or Mac for fabulous on-the-go audio fidelity without the need to install additional drivers. The speakers can also be directly connected to a MP3 player with the purchase of an additional power adapter.
