Print Art, Inc. is Going Green with Eco Friendly Paper

Egg Harbor Twp., N.J. (August 05, 2008) – In an effort to help the environment and reduce global warming, Print Art, Inc. has pioneered the use of Ultra Green™ Eco-Friendly Paper. Made from limestone, the paper is earth-friendly and energy efficient.

“This product is an eco-friendly option that is also a cost-effective choice,” said Carl Blase, CEO, Print Art, Inc. “It combines the printability of a traditional paper product with the durability of a plastic sheet. It does not require special inks or manufacturing processes. It’s easier to work with than plastic sheets and costs significantly less. Ultra Green™ Eco-Friendly Paper is a win-win for our customers and our natural resources.”

Unlike traditional paper, Ultra Green™ Eco-Friendly Paper is made without the use of trees, water or toxic agents such as bleaching chemicals. The paper is naturally resistant to scuffing, water, grease and oily substances. It has a smooth surface that results in very high color saturation. Its anti-static quality makes it easy to print and finish through a variety of processes. The paper is also acid-free and will not turn yellow or become brittle in the sun.

According to the manufacturer GPA, replacing one ton of traditional paper with one ton of Ultra Green™ Eco-Friendly Paper would generate the following results:
· 20 trees saved
· 42 lbs. of waterborne waste not created (water pollution)
· 7,480 gallons water/wastewater flow saved (water pollution)
· 167 lbs. solid waste not generated (land pollution)
· 236 lbs. atmospheric emissions eliminated (air pollution)
· 25 million BTU’s (energy) not consumed (save energy)
