WEBWIRE

QUANTICO, Virginia – BAE Systems has won the five-year, $94 million Marine Corps Operational Test and Evaluation Activity (MCOTEA) Omnibus Support contract.

Under this indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract, BAE Systems will provide the personnel and technical expertise to deliver essential complementary operational test, evaluation, managerial and technical support resources to the Marine Corps. While the majority of the work will be performed in the Quantico area, testing will occur around the globe.

“This contract will ensure that the Marines receive operationally effective and suitable equipment in a timely manner through this operational test and evaluation activity,” said Doug Belair, President of BAE Systems’ Technology Solutions & Services business.

MCOTEA is responsible for operational test and evaluation of all non-aviation equipment and systems procured for the U.S. Marine Corps. BAE Systems will assist MCOTEA as it plans its long term strategy, and moves toward an integrated business environment. The company will also provide programmatic, financial and business office support to MCOTEA.
