RV Park and Campground Trips Open For Auction On July 14, 2008.

FALLS CHURCH, Virginia (July 14, 2008) – The National Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds ARVC Foundation is auctioning camping vacation packages to support the Foundation’s efforts in enhancing the camping experience.

RV Parks and Campgrounds are experiencing tremendous popularity in light of increased travel costs. People are looking for ways to continue the tradition of a summer vacation with the family, while keeping their budget from getting out of control. Hence the new trend in travel…Staycations and camping.

Linda Profaizer, President of National ARVC states: “The Foundation is here to support RV Park and Campground owners in providing the highest quality camping experience possible to new and repeat guests alike. This Camping Package Auction benefits everyone by providing RVers and campers the opportunity to bid on the package of their choice, at a reduced price, and by introducing our member parks to new customers.”

She added: “Many of our parks are seeing more first time campers, and more campers extending their stay. Several of our members have provided the whole package including the camping nights and other amenities such as boat rentals, fishing or driving range. Each package is unique, from Alaska to Maine.”
