The new analytical services provide an important tool in identifying drugs on both imported and domestic materials and consumables.

Utilizing advanced high performance liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry (LC/MS/MS) detection, EMSL is currently able to identify a multitude of drugs ranging from cocaine to valium. The demand for this type of service has emerged from concerns over tainted food products with prescription drugs to identifying imported goods that may be laced with illegal drugs or drug residues.

Environmental drug testing services are also commonly used to identify unidentified suspicious materials and as well as to verify that illicit drug manufacturing facilities and distribution points are properly remediated after they have been identified by law enforcement.
