Delphi and Inteva Employees Raise $3,900 in Relay For Life Fund Raiser to Help Battle Cancer

VANDALIA, Ohio — Delphi Corp. and Inteva Products, LLC employees recently raised $3,900 for the American Cancer Society to help find a cure for cancer. For the fourth consecutive year, the group earned silver status.

After soliciting donations, Delphi and Inteva team members walked together through the night and participated in the 5K event on the next morning.

Relay for Life is a community-based event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for the American Cancer Society. On the day of the event, teams gather and take turns walking, jogging or running laps. Each team is asked to keep at least one representative of their team on the track at all times.

The Relay for Life is also a fund-raising event. Each team member is asked to raise a minimum of $100 from donors before the event. To raise money, team members solicited donations with several coffee and doughnut sales, raffles, and other fun-filled activities.
