SAS®Curriculum Pathways®, used by thousands of educators in more than 30 states, has won the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) 2008 CODiE Award in the education software category "Best K-12 Instructional Solution.” SAS Curriculum Pathways is an online resource for students and teachers in high schools, community colleges, virtual schools and home settings.

SAS Curriculum Pathways was also a finalist in the “Best Mathematics Instructional Solution” and “Best Reading/English Instructional Solution” categories. Another SAS offering, the SAS Enterprise Intelligence Suite for Education, was a finalist in “Best Postsecondary Enterprise Solution.” The SAS Enterprise Intelligence Suite for Education integrates, manages and analyzes data and then deploys information across a college, university, K-12 school or district.

The annual CODiE Awards – established in 1986 by the SIIA – compile both journalist and peer-company reviews to identify leaders and innovators in 76 categories of software, digital content and education technologies. This year, 600 companies submitted more than 1,100 CODiE nominations. An expert panel narrowed the field to 340, from which the winners were chosen.

“We are honored by the award not only for its industry prestige, but because it results from rigorous evaluation by education experts and peers,” said Bruce Friend, Director of SAS Curriculum Pathways. “It validates that SAS Curriculum Pathways is an ideal resource for traditional and nontraditional learning environments.”

Primarily for students in grades 8-12, SAS Curriculum Pathways provides content in the core disciplines of English, mathematics, social studies, science and Spanish.
