Alcatel-Lucent awarded “Best Fixed Networking Product Range” of the year from Network Middle East Innovation Awards 2008

Dubai, June 2008 — Alcatel-Lucent (Euronext Paris and NYSE: ALU) today announced that it has been awarded the “Best Fixed Networking Product Range” of the year at the fourth annual Network Middle East NME Innovation Awards 2008 held on May 13th in Dubai, which recognized the best network projects, products and individuals across the Middle East and honors excellence in networking.

Organized by Network Middle East, an ITP publication and the region’s leading networking magazine, the NME Innovation Awards represent an opportunity to reward the creative spirit that drives the networking industry in the Middle East and identify innovation in products and technology across the region.
