CIRRUS FRANCE announces grand opening of second office in CANNES
Cirrus Design Corp., a leading manufacturer of personal aircraft, announced today, during at Eur-Avia 2008, the launch of a second French office in Cannes, France.
The new office will be located at the International Airport of Cannes-Mandelieu (LFMD) and will contain a reception area, a sales office and a training facility. Cirrus France will staff the new office from its headquarters in Le Plessis Belleville. With this new location, Cirrus looks to expand beyond the more than one hundred aircraft currently in France.
“Cannes is an ever-expanding international destination for many people, so it is only natural that aviation would be a growing industry in the region,” said Managing Director, Cirrus International, John M. Bingham. “We have been planning this new location for a very long time and feel that Cirrus aircraft, especially the-jet, will do exceptionally well in this market. Eur-Avia 2008 provides the perfect time to launch the new office and familiarize potential Cirrus customers with all that will be available to them.”
During Eur-Avia 2008, Cirrus will have a full-scale mockup of the-jet on display, as well as an SR20-G3, an SR22 GTS-G3 and an SR22 Turbo-G3. Steve Serfling, Vice President of the Advance Design program and head of The-Jet project, will also attend to answer any questions.
Eur-Avia is a premier air show that brings together leaders in general aviation that are responsible for the latest inventions and industrial innovations. The event is known to be one of the best commercial exhibition of the French aeronautical industry.
