(BLI), the leading global provider of critical test reports on document imaging products. This enhanced version of Ricoh’s Software as a Service (SaaS) solution provides users with a simple interface and more document management flexibility to improve day-to-day business operations.

DocumentMall 9.1 scored extremely well in the usability, value and security categories of BLI’s extensive analysis of the solution. The software employs an updated Web interface that features point-and-click navigation and intuitive, menu-driven functionality to optimize performance and shorten the learning curve for new users. To streamline the process of importing documents into DocumentMall 9.1, users can drag-and-drop documents and folders from their desktops into DocumentMall 9.1. Users can also create subscriptions for commonly accessed folders and documents in the system that can easily be accessed through quick-links in a specified directory. The solution offers secure and direct scanning from Ricoh’s multifunctional products (MFPs) with barcode indexing for low to moderate scanning, and Upload Agent for high volume document upload with third-party conversion software. In addition, e-mail alerts can be established to allow users to track when documents are altered, and robust audit reporting is available to track all transactions that are performed within the system. Seven levels of user access controls define which users can view documents and folders, and can also prevent files from being edited by unauthorized users.
