NOVA Chemicals names new President of Olefins and Feedstocks business

Calgary, Alberta - NOVA Chemicals today announced the appointment of Grant Thomson as President of the Olefins and Feedstocks business. Thomson will be responsible for leading NOVA Chemicals’ Olefins and Feedstocks business from the company’s Canadian Operating Center in Calgary. He will report to Chris Pappas, President and Chief Operating Officer of NOVA Chemicals.



Thomson is currently Senior Vice President of the Olefins and Feedstocks business and has over 20 years of experience in the petrochemicals, plastics and energy industries.



Val Mirosh will take on the role of Special Adviser to the COO. Mirosh will focus on specific activities that will facilitate further growth of NOVA Chemicals’ Olefins and Polyolefins business in Alberta and Ontario.
