IBM Expands Number One Position in Servers During 2Q 2004
ARMONK, NY -- -- 08/27/2004 -- According to IDC, in 2Q 2004, IBM was once again the number one server vendor in the world based on factory revenue.[1] IBM built upon the revenue leadership position it had established in 2003.

** IBM remained number one in overall servers gaining worldwide revenue year-to-year.
** IBM had the largest world wide server revenue growth of any major vendor year-to-year.
** IBM is the number one vendor in terms of revenue for blade servers year-to-year.
