Australia 2008 – Call for Abstracts

It has also opened pre-registration for the event, slated for April 28-29, 2008 at Q1, the world’s tallest residential tower, in beautiful Gold Coast, Australia. This new once-a-year learning opportunity for the Australasian modeling community is designed after the highly successful annual MWH Soft International User Conference in the United States.

The Australasian seminar will welcome an annual gathering of MWH Soft software users and their managers who want to sharpen their skills, expand their knowledge, and share best practices with their peers. It will provide useful industry insights and a forum for exchanging cutting-edge information, proven strategies, cost-effective solutions and best practices with water and wastewater industry movers and shakers. In this interactive forum, water, wastewater and stormwater professionals can explore new ways of using engineering GIS technology and advanced network modeling and information management applications to do their jobs better, easier, faster and more efficiently; maximize their return on software investments; and make their organizations more globally competitive — and earn valuable Chartered Professional’s Continued Professional Development (CPD) hours. The event will also feature important technology updates from developers. The ultimate goals of the event are to design, operate and manage better systems, protect the environment, and safeguard public health.

The keynote speaker, MWH Soft President and COO, Paul F. Boulos, Ph.D, will address the latest technologies available for water, stormwater and wastewater network modeling as well as asset management. Other highlights include demonstrations of the latest releases of MWH Soft’s industry-leading water and urban drainage design and modeling software, as well as the company’s new asset management solution for long-term investment planning, widely regarded for offering the best in water distribution and urban drainage modeling and design integrated with the best in engineering.
