Lloyd’s Spain wins business award

Lloyd’s Spain has been awarded the ‘Sal’ award 2007 for its professionalism, corporate brand, proximity and support to the insurance intermediaries sector.

The award, given by the Colegio de Mediadores de Seguros de Barcelona (the Barcelona Insurance Intermediaries), recognises the ongoing support of the Lloyd’s Spanish office to the intermediaries in the area of Cataluna.

The ceremony, attended by over 400 delegates, was held in the Cataluna’s Parliament, with delegates including its President, Ernest Benach.

Speaking about the award, Juan Arsuaga, Lloyd’s Spain Managing Director, said:

“We are delighted to receive this award, which recognises the hard work that Lloyd’s Spain has put in over the past year to meet the needs of insurance intermediaries. It is great to be part of a vibrant and growing market, with the future opportunities of this key region in Spain highlighted by the experience and qualifications of Catalonian intermediaries, and the growth in number of Lloyd’s correspondents in the area.”
