The National Academy of Sciences and Institute of Medicine will release SCIENCE, EVOLUTION, AND CREATIONISM, a booklet designed to give the public a comprehensive and up-to-date picture of the current scientific understanding of evolution. It provides information about recent advances that have yielded important evidence for evolution, reinforcing its role as the central organizing principle of modern biology.



DETAILS: A public briefing to release the booklet will take place on Jan. 4 from 11 a.m. to noon in the Lecture Room of the National Academy of Sciences building, 2100 C St., N.W.
