Shawnee, Kansas.-AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) today announced a new contract to provide network services to Nazdar, a major international manufacturer and distributor of screen-printing inks, supplies and equipment.

Under the terms of the three-year contract, AT&T now serves as Nazdar’s primary network and data services provider and will use Internet Protocol (IP) Virtual Private Network (VPN) services to connect Nazdar’s headquarters and 10 locations.

The AT&T VPN solution uses AT&T’s Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) network and provides a reliable, private and unified platform while it delivers robust capabilities. These capabilities meet Nazdar’s demand for expanded bandwidth and fast, reliable data transfers among customers and the company’s multiple offices.

“The AT&T VPN will allow us to monitor the speed used by each location so that we can make bandwidth adjustments accordingly,” said Chris Davis, vice president and chief information officer at Nazdar. “The network solution provided by AT&T further enables us to focus on our business and prepare for future growth in our networking needs.”

Nazdar needed flexibility in its voice communications and its data-applications network services to accommodate future network needs. The company plans to add video capability and wants to increase data speed at the locations seeing the heaviest traffic. Supported by AT&T’s Managed Internet Service (MIS), Nazdar’s improved communications system will have redundancy and increased reliability for greater network efficiency and availability.
