Stockholm, Sweden, November 10, 2005 - Swedish game developer Jadestone Group AB has entered into a joint venture with Åland based gaming for welfare operator Ålands Penningautomatförening (PAF) to launch a new online skill games network - GamArena. The new network offers a mixture of skill based Sports, Casino and Arcade games.

GamArena is aimed at online gamers and gamblers and offers them the next generation of skill games and a high quality online entertainment experience. With compelling games, unique community features and a proven P2P gaming platform the service will launch in early 2006 with English and Scandinavian language versions – soon to be followed by other major European languages.

GamArena will be a standalone company that is jointly owned by Jadestone and PAF. The company will focus on developing, launching and operating GamArena as an online skill games network. The network will aggregate end users (players) from multiple front-end B2B partner sites on one centralized skill gaming platform and around a mixture of unique sports, casino and arcade games.

Robert Henrysson , CEO of Jadestone Group, commented:

“GamArena is a very exciting venture and one that perfectly combines the skills and experiences of Jadestone and PAF. Together, we anticipate delivering the next generation of skill games and providing real value to players and partners alike.”

Lars Porko, CEO of PAF, stated that:

“PAF see skill games as a natural extension of our online gaming strategy to innovate in both channels and products. We have high hopes that skill games will succeed as have other PAF peer-to-peer ventures such as bingo and poker, and we believe that Jadestone is the perfect partner with whom to create a compelling skill games proposition.”

Managing Director of GamArena is Andrew Pegler, formerly CEO of Gambling Works Ltd and UK Sales Manager for Boss Media.
