Emory Healthcare to Host Annual Holidays Events

WEBWIRE

Emory Healthcare will be hosting its annual holiday lighting celebrations, and everyone in the community is invited to join us for entertainment, games, food, fun, holiday cheer and, of course, a visit from Santa Claus.

All events are free and open to the public.

This year’s festivities, which include thousands of lights and beautiful decorations at each facility, will be highlighted by holiday music performed by the DeKalb Choral Guild. Each program starts at 5 p.m. with food, fun and fellowship. Choral music will begin at 6 p.m., followed by the tree lighting at 6:30 p.m. Emory Crawford Long Hospital will also feature a spectacular fireworks show, and Santa will make his arrival at all three facilities.

“The holiday season provides us with a special opportunity to gather and celebrate with our employees and the communities we serve,” says David Pugh, associate administrator for Emory Healthcare. “A tremendous amount of planning and teamwork goes into all three events in order to ensure a lasting memory for our visitors and the Emory Healthcare family. I believe this year’s programs will again prove to be fun and exciting.”
