November 14, 2007, Milford, Mich. – CrimeCog Technologies of Milford, Michigan today announces that Joe McKeown has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer. He brings more than 18 years of leadership in sales, marketing, sales operations, event and sponsorship marketing, executive and corporate communications, business performance improvement and customer engagement marketing programs.

McKeown most recently served as the president and founder of Ann Arbor, Michigan-based EventMeasures, a marketing services and sponsorship management company. Previously McKeown served as a senior executive for corporate communications and marketing services at MCI Telecommunications, where he built and led a global marketing and communications organization. As a core member of the CEO-level team, McKeown helped lead corporate and segment strategy and product launch and communications programs, including several company-wide strategic efforts, such as MCI Friends and Family, 1-800 Collect and networkMCI among others. As MCI’s de facto “chief people officer” he developed incentive and communications programs that helped fuel double-digit productivity increases for the sales and service teams and played a pivotal role in the re-launch and rebranding of MCI.
