The Audi quattro Cup ranks among the world’s major and most popular tournament series for amateur golfers.
In its 17th edition the Cup boasts a number of superlatives yet again: more than 16,000 golfers participated in 168 tournaments across Germany over the past few months to qualify during the German finals at the “Golf Resort Bad Griesbach” for the world finale in Mexico. Now the eight German finalists have been determined.

In the crucial competition, which again featured two final rounds on account of the high interest, four pairings prevailed: Sabine Pamer and Frank Dörr (Audi Zentrum Nürnberg-Marienberg), Christophe Geistert and Steffen Schuh (Autohaus Walter Schuler), Michael Meyer and Jan Heckendorf (Autohaus Winkelmann) as well as Guido Primus and Ralf Schultes (Autohaus Stiglmayr). All contenders had previously qualified in tournaments of regional Audi partners played as foursomes with selection drive according to the Stableford system. The 168 winners competed on the Bernhard-Langer-Course ”Brunnwies“.

The Audi quattro Cup world finale will be held at the 27-hole course of the Palmilla Golf Club in Los Cabos, Mexiko, from 15 to 19 November. Last year saw golfers from nearly 40 nations compete in the culminating event of the tournament series. The winning teams came from Spain and Paraguay, the German duo finished in fourth place.
