Herman Miller, Inc., Leads Michigan’s Furniture Industry with Top Women Earners

Herman Miller has been recognized in the 2007 Michigan Women’s Leadership Index (WLI) for the number of women serving on the company’s board and among executive leadership, according to the study commissioned by the Inforum Center for Leadership and conducted by the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.

Herman Miller led its industry with a tabulated score of 10 points, based on two executive officers among top salaried executives and for its two female members of the board of directors.

Originally developed and reported in 2003, the Michigan WLI measures the presence of women leaders at the largest 100 publicly-held companies headquartered in Michigan.
