Kodak Names Jeremy Watson Business Development Manager for Healthcare Market

Role emphasizes importance of providing solutions to healthcare market

Rochester, NY.- Expanding opportunities for specialized vertical market vendors, Kodak announced today that Jeremy Watson has been named Business Development Manager-Healthcare, Document Imaging, Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group (GCG), United States and Canada Region. He will work with independent software vendors to offer healthcare professionals comprehensive customized document management solutions using Kodak’s line of products from network, distributed, and production scanners to Kodak’s Service and Support.

Watson’s hiring is part of Kodak’s aggressive plan to bring customer benefit solutions to vertical markets by expanding its channel program, which has grown by more than 1,000 resellers over the past year.

“While expanding into the healthcare market, Jeremy will collaborate with independent software vendors in creating KODAK Solution packages that streamline existing business processes and meet compliance regulations for healthcare providers,” said Todd LeVeque, Director of National Sales for Distribution Capture, Document Imaging, Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group, United States and Canada Region. “He also will work with the independent software vendors on certifying KODAK products and solutions for use with their software packages.”

With seven years’ experience as both a vendor and reseller in the healthcare industry, Watson earned a bachelor’s degree in general studies and a master’s degree in physics from the University of Louisville. He comes to Kodak from Allscripts, a provider of clinical software, connectivity and information solutions for healthcare professionals, where he served as a strategic partner manager for several key distribution partnerships and small to medium business reseller relationships.
