Harsco Corporation Declares Regular Quarterly Cash Dividend

Action Marks 230th Consecutive Quarterly Cash Dividend to Harsco Stockholders; Company Has Paid Dividends Every Year Since 1939

The Board of Directors of Harsco Corporation (NYSE: HSC) today declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.1775 per share, or $0.71 per share on an annualized basis. The dividend is payable November 15, 2007 to stockholders of record as of October 15, 2007.

The dividend represents the 230th consecutive quarterly dividend paid to Harsco stockholders at the same or increased rate, and reflects the Company’s previously announced two-for-one stock split which became effective in March 2007. The Company has paid dividends every year since 1939, including dividend increases in each of the past thirteen years.
