Online broker Scottrade to open new branch in Toms River, N.J.

New branch office to bring convenience of local service to online investing





St. Louis. – Scottrade, a leading branch-supported online investment firm, is opening a new branch office in Toms River, N.J. The branch, located at 1 Route 37 W. in the Toms River Shopping Center, opens on Monday, Sept. 24.



Mark Barron, Scottrade branch manager, said the branch office’s highly-visible location near the intersection of Routes 9 and 37 would make online investing more convenient for many investors.



“Having a local office is important to many online investors and we believe there is a strong need for an online brokerage in the area,” Barron said. “Our easily accessible location will make it easy for customers to stop in and get personal customer service if they have any questions about their accounts or would like to learn more about online trading.”



Scottrade is an online stock brokerage that provides individual investors the tools and research to make their own investment decisions. Scottrade does not provide investment advice, but brokers are available at branch offices to answer account-related questions, provide customer service and offer tutorials on Scottrade’s online trading services.

The Toms River branch is one of four new locations Scottrade is opening in the state this year and its 11th New Jersey location. Earlier this year, Scottrade opened new branch offices in Ft. Lee, New Brunswick and Wayne.
