NASA Extends Center’s Information, Media Services Contract

HOUSTON - NASA has exercised a $35 million option to extend for one year the Johnson Space Center Information Management and Media Services contract with Tessada and Associates of Springfield, Va. The contract provides services to support technical and non-technical documentation for the spaceflight programs at Johnson.

The option is the first of two possible one-year extensions to the $105 million, three-year base contract that was awarded to Tessada and Associates in September 2004. The option that has been exercised extends the contract to Aug. 31, 2008.

Under the contract, Tessada and Associates provides assistance to Johnson’s Information Resources Directorate to support the International Space Station Program, Space Shuttle Program, Constellation Program and center management and operations. The services provided include graphics, publication support, application development, video production, television operations, customer support and photographic support.

The contract is a cost-plus-award-fee and indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract.
