Dell, The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Partner to Fight Cancer

Round Rock, Texas, October 6, 2005 -- Dell (NASDAQ:DELL) is joining forces with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation by serving as the presenting sponsor for the 2005 Komen Race for the Cure(R) in Austin, Texas.


To kick off National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and help promote the Komen Foundation’s mission, Dell also will offer a special edition Dell DJ Ditty(TM) music player bundle to U.S. customers.

The eighth annual Komen Austin Race for the Cure(R) event features a five-kilometer Run/Walk and a one-mile Family Fun Run/Walk. The event is one of the largest races in Austin, with more than 20,000 people expected to participate on Sunday, Nov. 6.
