BROWN JOINS PARSONS as vide president, business development

PASADENA, CA .– Parsons is pleased to announce that Gregory V. Brown, P.E., was recently hired as Vice President of business development for the Bridge & Tunnel Division. In this role, he will be responsible for strengthening and growing Parsons’ market position in the western United States.

Mr. Brown has 27 years of diverse experience developing and managing projects that involve the planning, design, and construction of bridges, tunnels, and a wide variety of other transportation related structures. His career began with the California Department of Transportation, Division of Structures, where he managed a structural design branch, chaired technical committees, and provided construction management services. For the past 15 years, Mr. Brown has worked in the private sector, providing structural design consulting services to numerous clients, including state transportation departments, counties, cities, seaports, airports, and railroads.

Mr. Brown holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from The University of Vermont and is a licensed Professional Engineer in California, Nevada, and New Mexico. He is also a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Institute of Steel Construction. He is based in Irvine, California.
