IABC/Delaware Announces Winners of 2007 First State Awards for Excellence in Communications

Wilmington, DE, August 1, 2007 — The Delaware chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators announced today the winners of the organization’s prestigious First State Awards, which recognize excellence in the field of communications in Delaware.
“We have talented communicators throughout the state who make important contributions each day to Delaware’s corporations, government organizations, small businesses, agencies and consultancies,” said Dan Tipton, president of IABC/Delaware. “The First State Awards recognize communicators who were singled out by their peers for developing communications campaigns or displaying skills that were truly exemplary.”
The winners were judged according to goals and objectives, solution overview, implementation and challenges, and finally, measurement and evaluation of outcomes in each of the respective categories.
